To Discover and Fix Invisible Vulnerabilities in Athletes

That’s our mission. It is simple, yet powerful. We have all seen athletes who are seemingly healthy get injured or are limited by their performance potential.

We were founded in 2019 in Silicon Valley, and have spent over three years perfecting our scientific methods and processes into a software product called BaselineAPS™, which defines an athlete’s Load Capacity™.

Sounds fancy, but its effect is simple - optimizing the human body's capacity to withstand structural stress not only minimizes performance constraints but also lowers the risk of injuries. Integrating a customized, brief training program into an athlete's existing regimen results in increased strength, improved fitness, enhanced speed, and greater resilience.

What is BaselineAPS?

BaselineAPS, or Baseline Athlete Profile System, is a unique software platform that uses patent-pending AI to analyze an athlete’s movement mechanics. Our AI then uses the athlete’s unique movement profile to provide a personalized exercise program designed to reduce injury potential and optimize performance.

You decide- use our platform as an all-in-one solution, or use it to integrate with and complement your AMS or other systems. To be clear, no separate equipment, software, nor AMS system is necessary, and BaselineAPS is hardware agnostic.

The result: injury reduction and improved performance

The difference: an ability to manage and optimize athletes from a mechanical wellness standpoint in the form of Load Capacity

Coaches & Team Management - understanding  the athletes underlying mechanical wellness and applying BaselineAPS programs enables you to add to your existing load programs so your athletes achieve greater resilience and expanded athletic range

Athletes- you can see and understand the data, practice and play with a higher level of preparation and confidence, and empower yourself with the knowledge that you are structurally prepared to reach your maximum potential

BaselineAPS brings together performance, technology, and an athlete’s Load Capacity into a first of its kind software platform

The Problem

Learn more
  • Despite new technologies and increasing amounts of data available to evaluate athletes, the impact of sport related  injuries continues to rise. The problem is often expressed in economic terms: billions of dollars in medical and lost revenue costs.  In human terms, the associated pain and suffering and loss opportunity cannot be measured, but it is felt by many.
  • There is a relationship between movement mechanics, injury potential and performance that has been overlooked.  Most programs continue to focus on load management data to monitor athletes providing rest or game-skipping in an effort to  prevent overuse, fatigue and the chance of injury.  While this data is useful, it does not consider the athlete’s ability to handle those loads, i.e. their  Load Capacity™  In other words, as with any structure, if load exceeds capacity, collapse (or injury) is likely to occur and/or performance is compromised.

The Method

Learn more
  • Our proprietary and patent-pending scientific method of analysis, measurement, and computation identifies the layers of  mechanical dysfunction and provides targeted training programs to specifically address and correct them.
  • The genesis of this effort began in academia, and has been further advanced and tested in our leading edge biomechanics lab.  For the athletes who have consistently engaged in their personal programming, the method produced dramatic and successful results.

The Concept

Learn more
  • Our process has a strong scientific base, analyzing a range of measurements to identify and quantify two underlying pillars affecting movement mechanics:
  • Movement Stability is a holistic approach to quantifying and correlating each individual component of the athlete’s physical structure.
  • Movement Strategy focuses on the integration of dynamic movement, efficiency of movement, and the ability for the joints to work in conjunction with each other.
  • Application of the concept leads to a method that improves athlete performance and resiliency.

The Product

Learn more
  • We realized our successful method is repeatable, making it a great candidate for a software product. We added more computational power in the form of a learning model, added layers of security, and automated the processes.  The result is BaselineAPS™.
  • Some key features of BaselineAPSTM include:
  • Expediency of data capture and actionable data outputs
  • Reduced friction involved with analyzing and creating personalized exercise programs
  • Deep practice targeted programming supplements
  • Storing and comparing each athlete’s past results, utilizing ML/AI to optimize programs for the best outcomes.
  • Cohort analysis: comparing athletes on a team to each other, allowing better and more holistic understanding of how athletes are progressing over time.
  • A simple dashboard for the coach and training staff to review the team and each individual athlete’s Load Capacity and programming
